A Short History of LG

The LG Group is South Korea’s third largest conglomerate, or chaebol, produces a range of products in three specific areas, covering the professional and consumer electronics to industrial chemicals and household, with 149 offices in more eighty countries. The group is in chemistry, working electronics, telecommunications and services.
Today, they employ thousands of people and their property consists of fifty to one company, with nine in electronics, chemicals, eight and thirty four in telecommunications, with offices worldwide. Its original name was The Lucky Chemical Industrial Corporation, and was the first Korean company in the plastics industry in 1952. While expanding its plastics business, the company moved into electronics with a new brand in 1958.
